Exceptional venue. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was the best quality and the taste was amazing. The venue itself was in such a beautiful place. I attended a wedding on the worst day but the carriage Hall was so amazing. Next door there is a lovely little restaurant where we had our breakfasts there again the quality was Exceptional like the Carriage Hall.

We recently got married at the Carriage Hall and we cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so good!! From start to finish the whole day ran so smooth and the staff were always so helpful. The food and service had so many compliments from our guests. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue to book our wedding. Also the shepherds hut was incredible and the breakfast was lovely the following morning. If you’re thinking about using the Carriage Hall for your wedding venue then you won’t be disappointed ☺️

Very nicely located/connected with plenty of parking for many guests. There was champagne on arrival as well which was very nice. With an upstairs area, as well as outside seating it didn’t feel too crowded but you could still find a lost friend quite easily. Also well lit and ventilated and generally great atmosphere

I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing wedding at the Carriage Hall recently. I was extremely impressed not just by the venue but the high quality of service they provide. I would highly recommend them.

Dean and I knew immediately when we first viewed The Carriage Hall that this was going to be our wedding venue. We got married in October 2022, and we cannot recommend the venue and the team highly enough. Cat was so very patient with me, with my constant amendments and questions across Cordero, as well as being extremely helpful and informative. We met with Shalome a couple of weeks before the wedding to have a final run down of the order of the day and iron out any creases – again, she listened to exactly what we wanted and no request was too much. On the day, Shalome and Georgia were so amazing, we didn’t always notice they were there, they just quietly ensured everything went so smoothly for us. I had a little sit with Georgia when it all got a bit too much towards the end of the night, and just had a chit chat, which was so lovely. Now, the food. We have had so may guests say that the food was the best wedding venue food they have ever tasted, and quite frankly we agree. Everything was absolutely to die for and knowing that we can go back at eat at Perkins whenever we like is honestly a dream come true. Had an event here not long ago, the 3 course meal was one of the best meals I’ve had. The staff are very polite and friendly, the hall itself Id beautiful and clean. Great for a party. They handed out canapés before we all sat at our tables. A lovely experience overall. Only downside is that it cost £28 for two double rum and cokes. I think we’ll stick to a pint next time haha.

We stayed in the Great Oak Shepherds Hut for our 7th Wedding Anniversary with dinner at Perkins in the evening and breakfast in the morning. It was truly an unbelievable experience from start to finish. The hut was so cosy and an experience in itself. We even had our own Robins visiting which was lovely (must remember some bird feed, the next time). The food at Perkins both in the evening and in the morning was delightful. 110% compliments to the chef. Very well presented and attention to detail second to none. Tasted delicious. The staff from booking stage right through to check in, drinks at the bar, dinner and breakfast are a credit to Perkins/The Carriage hall. We will most definitely be back
